This trail is beautiful and a great place to hike and you can take your dog with you. It is a great place for a trail run or a family hike. Any age can navigate this trail
There are many trails to explore. We took the outside trail which starts out from the parking lot with a gentle slope. There are intersecting trails that are called by a letter. We ended up taking the "u" trail which got steep with several switchbacks. This part of the trail was a beautiful old growth forest. There were no maps... More
I love having this forest less than 3 miles from my house. If you didn't know better, you would think you had driven an hour away into the hills. The only give away is the sound of freeway traffic on the east side. We like to hike the perimeter trail which is a couple of miles with some good hills.... More
We love coming here as a family, with our dog. It easily accessible, yet feels like we've really gotten away from it all. It's just the right distance of a hike, with a few trail options to keep our preteen daughter engaged but not bored. We love it.
Found this on a website and thought we would try it on a Sunday afternoon. Well maintained nice easy trails. Numerous trails that spur off the main loop trail. Easy access from the freeway. Great hike for family and Raye it as easy.
This place is quite beautiful, and the trails are well maintained. Hard to believe that it runs right next to the highway. A quiet hike and even good if it rains since the woods are fairly thick and covered. I recommend as an alternative to just walking along the road!
Trails in this gorgeous wooded park are exceedingly well-maintained. Many are flat; no trail we saw was difficult. Some trails get too close to Hwy 16, so you'll get road noise. But you can stay away from it easy, too.
