Plain buildings but good wines

A pretty plain tasting room but the selection and taste of the wines makes up for it. I tasted 5 wines for $5 and not one was a clunker. My favourites were the Malbec ($23) and... read more

I think they specialized in white wines, which I don't care for. BUT, their white wine was crisp, fruity, and bold that I even liked them! Ended up buying a few bottles! The guy at the tasting room was very friendly and passionate on their wines! What a fantastic way to spend Friday afternoon!

We were looking for something to do and passed this winery. What a great surprise! There were hand-crafted champagne style wines and northern whites you just do not find in grocery stores. The amusing conversation and carefully tended vineyard just added to the experience. This is well worth the short trip from Bellingham into the rural county.

The Mount Baker Vineyard and Winery is not a huge tourist attraction. No doubt, some of the wine tasting facilities in Woodinville have more traffic. The reality is that this vineyard and Winery is much more interesting than most of the better known wine tasting places in Woodinville. The grapes are grown here for the most part. It is not... My wife and I were in the Pacific Northwest for the first time. On the last day of our visit, our friend took us to mt. Baker winery. We were hooked immediately. The selection of wines was excellent. The server knowledgeable. When we learned that mt baker wines were served at the restaurant in the Seattle space needle, we were... More

Took the drive out of Bellingham to this Winery for a tasting with modest expectations. Since it was early in the week, there were just 4 of us but we were royally entertained by our host (the owner) for almost two hours. The wines were all excellent and we even found several white's we liked although we prefer reds. Nothing... More

My boyfriend and I were looking for something to do on a rainy day while we were visiting the area, and decided to visit a local winery- and we couldn't be more happy that we did! We were greeted and served by the owner Randy, who took us through a guided wine tasting. The passion he puts into his work... More

A pretty plain tasting room but the selection and taste of the wines makes up for it. I tasted 5 wines for $5 and not one was a clunker. My favourites were the Malbec ($23) and Madelien Angevine ($14). Note that most of the grapes for their wines are trucked in from Yakima.

We attended an invitation only dinner to sample some of their wines paired with menu items. It was a lovely meal followed by a tour of the winery and its grounds. Lovely setting and friendly staff. Very enjoyable.

A knowledgeable and friendly steward introduced us to the family operated winery. They do a nice job at a variety of price points.
