we love Sucia State Park. To hike, kayak, camp, relax. It's clean, quiet, with green lawn, picnic tables, covered shelters.

Sucia Island State Park is only reached by boat (unless you have a private helicopter). It can get very busy during the height of the boating season. If you want a mooring buoy, it could be tough. The island is very walkable and has connecting...More

Accessible only by boat, this well maintained state park has miles and miles of beautiful walking trails, dozens of picturesque camping sites and washroom and shower facilities.

Yes! Even when busy there tend to be lots of available campsites. They aren't all necessarily clustered in one place and if you pack light enough that you can hike a bit you'll definitely be good! There's lots of camping... More

The campsites are all first come, first served. They have never filled up in the history of the park.

There are several companies that offer kayak tours or kayak rentals. Outer Island Expeditions and Shearwater Kayaking both offer kayak tours from Orcas Island taking a powerboat to Sucia and then dropping you off to paddle... More
