Easy access to the boats, tons of parking, great crew! My mom, daughter and I had a really fun time. The only disappointment was not seeing any Orca's (they are ever elusive to me hahaha) but we did get to see a few other whales, tons of eagles, sea lions and seals!

This tour was great. We had a wonderful time and everything went as planned. The staff was interesting and very informative about everything we were seeing. They found us several whales, sea lions, harbor seals and birds to view. The sailing was smooth and all on board seemed to have a great time. I would highly recommend this to anyone... More

A beautiful day, calm waters. Good equipment. We only could be in double kayaks which would have been nice to know upfront. Even though I am a fit person in early 40's who kayaks often, I had a hard time keeping up. There was not a lot of time to take photos along the way to the bay where we... More

All in all , this was a great tour. The day was just glorious and we got to see one of the resident Killer whale pods. Also, went by some other islands with seals etc. on them. Crew was very nice but really only one girl on board did most of the explaining. However, my one big complaint is that... More

We joined Captain Paul and his amazing crew for a whale watching adventure this past Saturday, May 20. The day could not have been more perfect for a boat day. Sunshine, no clouds in the sky and a breezy 75 degrees. We departed on their 38 foot catamaran aptly called the Black Fish Express. The vessel drives fast and smooth,... More

We had a group of 6 visiting Orcas so did the 3-hour kayaking trip out to Point Doughty. Our guide (Dana) was really fun--engaging, good attitude, and very knowledgeable about pointing out some of the wildlife we saw and could expect to see on Orcas. We got lucky with the weather--patches of sun between big fluffy clouds. Otherwise we would've... More

We had a wonderful time on the 4 hour whale watching cruise. The crew was terrific and not only did we see a pod of orcas but we learned so much about them and other sea life in the area.

On my third trip with Outer Island Expeditions, we finally saw Orcas! I had seen humpback whales the other two trips (which were also amazing), but the crew did a great job of seeking out the orcas right away. The boat was comfortable, they provided warm exposure jackets to us since it was a chilly day, and there were snacks... More

These folks clearly love their work and put safety first. Our kayak trip was cancelled due to high winds (all on the island were commenting, so these weren't light winds) and were able to get us on the water the following day. Out on the water, our guides shared their knowledge of the history of the islands, wildlife, and geology.... More
