Like the title says, this campsite is clean and simple. But very close to the highway. Some of the sites including the group sites (which we were at) are so close to the highway it really disrupts the serenity camping is supposed to encompass. The bathrooms are clean which I really appreciate. We did hit Mile Hi Burgers across from... More

After driving past the park for years, it was time to explore the area. We parked on the west side of the park near the old concrete bridge visible from I-90 (a Discover Park is required), then hiked west over the bridge a short distance and followed the John Wayne Trail signs south to the JW Trail (about 1.3 miles)... We took the trail around the loop and had a very nice easy hike. The view across the lake is beautiful.

Just got home from 3 days 2 nights of camping at Lake Easton State Park. Beautiful tent camping sites, good swimming and close to some really good Washington Hiking. The only downfall of tent camping here is the noise. The freight trains run right across the river from the majority of the tent sites and if you don't come prepared... More

...but as other have mentioned, be prepared for noise from the freeway (adjacent) and trains (other side of the lake). That said, we always enjoy Lake Easton State Park because it's easy (close to home) and the park itself is idyllic... beautiful and well-maintained with tent pads, fire pits, restrooms and showers. Pull through's can easily accommodate large rigs and... More

NOISY. I can't stress this enough. It's beside a highway. It's beside a railroad. Yes, you get used to it after awhile, but who wants to go through that adjustment, especially when there's not much to do in Easton? For $30/night, there are better options. Ones that allow you to hear the birds and leaves swaying in the wind. With... More

This review is for what they call the utility campground. The standard campground is primarily for tents but many sites will hold a small RV but there are no hook ups for power, water, or sewer. The utility campground has 45 spots. One is reserved for the host and one for emergencies leaving 43 reservable. All the spots have water,... More

Wonderful well kept park with bonus amenities (recreation area, lake access, restrooms and showers). We brought a camper and rented a RV spot overlooking the beautiful views of Lake Easton. Highly recommended!!

The Ranger was very rude from the moment we rolled up. It was 1:30 PM and he told us that check-in was at 2:30. I mentioned that most other parks let people in if the site is available. He said "since people like to complain, I am now being strict on check-in times". I asked if we could go in... More

We stayed at the group site in may 2015. The great thing about the group site is that there are a lot of separate areas for tents, so there was some privacy. Lots of shade, trees, and a common area for the fire/camp kitchen. There was a really nice walk to the lake/swimming area and playground. There was also a... More
