The three lifts, one is a tow, was beautiful. I hung out at the lodge and did some work and ended up putting my boots on backwards... back to the rental counter. I left during some sunshine in the early afternoon and had the most beautiful car trip through Dayton and through Walla Walla back home to Kennewick Washington.

I know some people can pick up an activity without needing lessons. Which I tried, but failed the first time trying to snowboard. They have military discounts for regular lift tickets. There is a platter pull package here which comes with equipment rental, lessons, and a platter pull ticket (you're able to upgrade for an additional cost for the ski... More

I learned how to ski at this resort so naturally brought my wife and kids here to learn also. Prices are always affordable and after a few lessons over the years, we can now ski together as a family. Highly recommend this resort and the wonderful staff that keep it running!

Has a variety of runs and different "special" planned events throughout the season. Great place to learn how to ski. Has a rental shop, good beginner areas, cafe, lounge, etc. Food is typical cafeteria style. It would be nice if it stayed open later in the spring for more spring skiing and also during the summer for hiking/riding type fun.

Nice place to find some great powder. The mountain isn't the biggest, but the lines are short, the trees are a blast to ski or board, and now they run the cat up vintners ridge it is even more fun to get up to bluewood for the weekend. If you like powder and hassle free skiing, Bluewood is the place... More

I don't think I've ever waited in line more than 2 minutes to get on a lift here. Great tree skiing (especially when they get a lot of snow), but the groomed runs are pretty average, except shorter than most places. Usually you like to go up on a day after they get hit with multiple inches, otherwise it's so-so.... More

Had to get out of this gray inversion. Drove to Bluewood for some sunshine with a buddy today. We enjoyed the runs, snow was fine. I agree the runs are really short. The staff of the day, Less Than Pleasant. From the second we walked in to get tickets, the lift operators, the restaurant staff... Very unpleasant. Waiting inline to... More

The area has good snow some of the time. It is pretty small, but the people are friendly. Not very much of a challenge for normal skiers.
