What a nice train ride and especially in the fall! We took the longer trip and enjoyed the brisk weather and the fall foliage.
I took my grandson through this museum. He is 8 and really enjoyed it. The volunteer were very knowledgeable and even let him run a train around the track.
Cute little attraction run by steam train lovers and volunteers. From the lady who checked us in to the engineer and conductors, we had a great experience. The Senior engineer, Rick, invited my husband, a real train lover, to ride in the engine. I enjoyed...More
Can't say enough about all the staff, from the super nice lady selling tickets (you can buy on-line but we wanted to go the next day)to all the personnel on the train, they would stop and chat with you, answer all your questions and you...More
My wife, kids and I loved this train ride. This is a golden opportunity for my family to experience what is like to ride in a steam locomotive. People work there are super friendly. My kids received a banner, coloring paper and crayons, and candy...More
Family of four(7,11) had a very fun and relaxing time. On time and was the perfect distance. They do offer a evening diner ride, but we went to the daytime ride. Lots of views and even got pictures of Mt. Ranier in background

The trip is enjoyable and not terribly scenic. It is simply a steam train ride. Children are thrilled and we take our grand kids once a year just to watch them enjoy it. Go on a day that you can ride in one of the...More
