The hotel is so lacking in personality I felt my soul getting sucked out by osmosis. No cable, or restaurant and the entire place run by surly, clueless, teenagers, exept for the one adult there (geriatric massus ) who gave me a massage that was....meh. Felt like the last adult alive on earth, like the twilight zone episode.

I've been coming to Carson since the early eighties and I've seen a lot of changes there although the mineral bath is still simple it hasn't changed much in all those years. Very relaxing and well worth the trip. The cottages I stay then are long gone replaced with new Hotel. The old hotel is still there and although there... More

The men's bath house is rugged. Very large claw-footed tubs with an abundance of very hot water. There is only a mild sulfur smell. The bath attendant wraps you up afterwards for about 20 minutes and then leads you to your massage location. The massage was good, more general and relaxing, especially after the hot bath and the wrap. It... More

I took my daughters to Carson Mineral Hot Springs for an over night get away and body pampering. I haven't been there in a couple of years, wow has the place changed. The new hotel is comfortable. Missed the old hotel though, it is still there but I am not sure if they rent out rooms in the original building.... More

I have to say, I enjoyed the mineral baths immensely. It's still old school St. Michael's. Same wonderful footed tubs and great attendants to cater to your needs. I was less impressed with the basic accommodations. I had been half hoping that they had retained some of the old, old rooms from the 1920's but alas, those are all gone.... More

Soaking in the old iron claw foot tub in stinky mineral water in a very old bath house has its own charm. Then laying on a cot for a lovely wrap and a little nap (my favorite one is by the door) The shower facilities are very basic but clean. Always nice to dry off and warm up in the... More

We decided to stay overnight in a king jacuzzi room. The gal gave us a good rate over the phone and informed us that they do place a $250 hold on the card while you are there. When we arrived a few days later the gal at the front desk tried to charge me $60 more than what I wad... More

Carson hot springs was the most relaxing experience I have ever had!! A 20 minute soak in a mineral bath to calm your body and a hot wrap to sweat out all the impurities in you skin. I had a 50 minute message which wasn't long enough. I will do it again and again!! We only stayed for the day.

Carson Hot Springs is a place to go when you want to unwind. The hotel rooms were updated a few years ago. They are basic, but clean and comfortable. The spa is the real draw here, though. The old St. Martin Hotel houses the bath house and massage rooms. There is a men's side and a women's side. Mineral water... More

I live near this funky old place, and have been going there for a soak, wrap and massage several times a year for many, many years. I loved the "realness" of the place, the old tubs and as much hot mineral water as you want to use. I went recently, and while I was happy to get an appointment on... More
