Great place to catch trout whether on a dock or boat. Brought my boys here and they've had a great time. Good place to swim and kayak in the summer.

We parked at the west end, and walked to the east end (ball fields, bathroom, dog parks there). The path was impeccably groomed, and the terrain was level. We didn’t complete the whole loop around the lake because it was getting dark pretty fast, so...More

I've visited Lake Padden several times. Wonderful trail around a gorgeous lake. Picnic areas, recreation etc. The problem now is that swimming is not permitted because of the New Zealand Mud Snail infesting the lake. I guess that's bad. Still, all the times I've visited...More

Living in Bellingham all my life, I have seen many changes. The Lake Padden Park has not been a lake that's been there 'forever.' Pssssttt….it's man-made. Yep, not a natural lake but the trees and greenery are pretty real. No matter what the season, there...More

With so many trails. We just took the loop round the lake, just 2.8 miles, but so beautifully peaceful. It was lovely to see so many people enjoying and exercising in the fresh air. Good restrooms!

This was the third time that I played this golf course. It has deteriorated since the last time. The tee boxes were almost bare but the greens were in reasonable shape. The fairways could use a little fertilizer and water. I spoke to the clubhouse...More

No motor boats allowed making it very serene and quiet. There's an extensive trail network and a generous amount of parking. If you want to see the dock in the main pic here with less walking keep driving past the first parking area.
