This isn't the most developed park, but it is a stop worth making along the picturesque Chuckanut Drive to/from Bellingham. There are a series of trails that go about the park that one has to take a chance on and figure out randomly. You're rewarded...More

This is such a beautiful place. The cliffs, rocks and bay scenery are so breath taking. The dock is shallow in the summer low tides and full of kelp and eel grass late summer early fall - so watch out. Lot's of nice trails.

Beautiful place to hike. There are plenty of places to stop and take photos of the beautiful scenery. Definitely nice to stop and take in the fresh air. We felt safe walking through the park as well.

Surrounding area with stunning views of the bay and islands in distance. However, camping is only in the wooded area (which is not bad but darkish) and close by camp spaces. Was over crowded when we were there and did not feel much privacy. Hikes...More

We crossed the border to hike to the Raptor Ridge Overlook. We went the wrong way last time so wanted to try again. The trail had a few view points along the way with one short steep spot. This time we made it! It was...More

Although there an entrance fee to gain access to the beach it is well worth the fee - take a walk around the cliff top and soak up the view.

No, I wouldn't be afraid. Cougars and bears are usually scared off by dog's barking.
