It's somewhat hard to find a sandy beach in Bellevue but Meydenbauer Park is great for kids. sometimes the sea gets a little yucky with bird goop but all in all it's a great place to go. Limited shade. Bring food and water as there are no facilities except decent toilettes.

a little hard to find due to its weird entrance. Once there, you may have a hard time parking but you can always park outside and walk in. surrounded by houses but still feels private and woodsy. the beach is not too large but very comfortable with nice sand on half of it. one of the few places that has... Looking for some fresh air after a long conference day stayin in a 'downtown' Bellevue hotel? Get onto your feet and take a walk donw to Washington lake. Nice view after a fairly steep walk (down and later back up again).

This is a small little park down a road you have to look for. Once you arrive, you still need to park and walk down to the park, but its very well kept, fun for kids to dip their feet in the lake, play on the play structures or just have a picnic on the grass

I travel alone to Bellevue often and like to take walks to explore. The entrance to the park is in a residential on the periphery of downtown and I came across it while wandering about early one morning. I was hesitant at first because the road led down into dark forest, but figured Bellevue is safe. Going down was like... More

A great little park with gorgeous views. I wish it was larger with a much wider and longer pier, but all in all worth going to for an hour or 2

Clean and beautiful place for a picnic on the lake. Not a lot of parking available. Wasn't crowded in April, but I'm sure in the summer time it must be full of people

Thank Richard W
