We came as a family during the crazy snow we had. It’s a lovely walk around the woods. Very accessible for push chairs due to most of it being decking sort of flooring. Nice little cafe in car park as well.

If you go here at the weekend it will be very busy. I tend to go during the week. Just off the Derwent Walk it is a great place to clear your head on a busy day..

Fabulous walk at Thornley Woods recommended by a friend. It was wonderful, we visited with our 2 dogs. Visited the cafe Robin was amazing, great food & value for money. Lots to explore. Will certainly be back. Saw some Red Kite birds. Amazing

Absolutely. A good surface and no very steep gradients, I see toddlers there frequently - pushchairs too.
