This is a very moving memorial to Naval Aviation. I particularly like the sculpture of the pilot being greeted home by his family.

As a military family we always visit any monument that supports and recognizes the dedication of past and present military families. More citizens need to see this beautifully designed monument that recognizes and supports the US Navy. There are many military friendly areas as well as historic pieces in the area. This is a must see for all who appreciate... More

This is a beautiful monument to those who have served our country. The various scenes depicted were especially moving. It's definitely worth visiting while you're on the boardwalk.

This was a beautiful and touching area to our American history. My teenage grandsons read each plaque and I actually saw their wheels turning..which gives me hope ;) great attraction for families on a budget seeing as there is no cost!! A definite must see

A well done memorial that brings back good memories and the smell of JP5. This memorial only requires a few minutes of your time when you're in the area.

Its nice how in between every block along the boardwalk they have some kind of art or in this case monument. This is a big monument, very nice.

Literally stumbled upon this very well done and thought out Monument. Right between the beach and the main drag. A number of statues celebrating Naval Aviation. A number of graphics and explanations were on the base of the statues. Be sure to build in some time. I didn't have much time to take everything in.

I saw this driving on my way out of town, so I just had to stop to see what it was. It was a pleasant surprise to see the men and women who sacrifice their time and talent to serve and protect the USA. Thank you to whoever put this together

Great memorial to the navy and the sacrifices and commitments our sailors make (and their families) This is a tribute to the aircraft carriers, the naval pilots, and the families that wait for their sailors to return.

Many people will not even know there is such an amazing memorial unless they are active walkers and exploring a bit off the boardwalk in Virginia Beach. But if you get off the promenade just a block, you will not be dissapointed! With so many Naval facilities in the region, it makes sense to honor the US Navy fliers who... More
