Great place to visit for the day or to camp. Great for peace and quiet or for the kids to play. Love the scenery and since you are in Virginia Beach, you have everything near you.More

The park was a delight from the trails, to the wonderful scenery and wildlife in abundance. It was a place I would go to relax again and again in the Virginia Beach area,

We took the tram on a summer afternoon, with our two kids, and really had a great time! Fascinating history, beautiful scenery, and don't forget your mosquito repellent!

Finding this place was a nice surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed our bike ride here. Some of the trail was too sandy to ride, especially getting to the beach. The beach was definitely worth it. We saw a ton of wildlife as well.

We did not see a single snake in the two days we visited. However, a fellow traveler had a video of one but He told us they stay away from humans. We just need to pay attention to where we are walking. Have a great day!
