The VA Beach Boardwalk was the perfect place for an off-season run during the day. It is also the perfect place for an evening stroll. There are many restaurants and amusements open to make a trip to the beach lots of fun.

Stayed here at the Southern end of the boardwalk for 7 days. Weather was pretty crummy, except for 1 day. There is a bike trail set up specifically for bikes going North or South - 2 lanes and a wide boardwalk for pedestrians. Easy access...More

The Virginia Beach boardwalk has been vastly improved over the past several years. Along with the beach widening, the boardwalk is wider and very conducive for a leisurely walk or run. The designated bike path is great for personal bikes or rentals of all kinds....More

very nice walking or biking area, i'm used to shops etc. right on the boardwalk, like in new jersey, but with nothing much along the boardwalk, it makes it rather peaceful, just the sounds of the wind and water

I will rate VA beach boardwalk as the best 4 miles ever. Lots of beach scenery while not having to fight the sand! Always some type of entertainment along the boardwalk as well.

Beautiful beach and boardwalk. We enjoyed seeing the sculptures at various points along the boardwalk. Actually got to see the Polar Plunge near Neptune’s statue.

Very beautiful and clean boardwalk and beach. Loved that it was pet friendly. Wished the bikes would have stayed in bike lane and not where walkers were.

People come form all walks of life to do the Polar Plunge. I did the 1 Mile walk outside on the Va Beach Boardwalk. And it was grand. Cut a half an hour off of my time of last year.
