This place is a small park that I was surprised to hear has historical value. I keep thinking that I wish the county would fix it up or sell it to a developer. I actually find it to be a creepy park that is likely the site for lovers to meet up and who knows what else. It is mostly... More

This is the site of a last-ditch effort to thwart the Confederates. It started in January 1865. There is a marker and a trail here, as well as a playground for kids. There's some parking here, and it's in a neighborhood away from Route 7, so not noisy.

There is a historical marker and some mounds of dirt but this very small park doesn't offer much more. The parking lot is used by delivery drivers to catch up on paperwork. Given the dozens of much more significant places in the area, I would give this park a pass.
