Who knew President Woodrow Wilson was born in Staunton, Virginia? His small presidential library/museum sits next door to his birthplace. Both are worth the quick tour and short movie program. The museum displaying info on many major events during his tenure is surprising. And the...More

Was looking for an interesting place to stop while traveling I-81 and came across this presidential library. Fortunately had done internet research at hotel the night before, because it does not seem to be identified by one of those brown historic places signs (if there...More

Staff was very cheerful and knowledgeable about our 28th president. The museum was interesting. The interactive WW1 trench was unique. Worth the experience. The tour of the Manse was also done nicely and the tour guide was friendly and well informed.

Unlike other Presidential museums this place was his birthplace and his home for only 14 months after his birth. They tried to make it more than it is but "it is what it is".

So interesting to review Wilson's life and family. We learned so much about the era in which he lived. His father was a successful Presbyterian minister. His wife acted as President after Woodrow had a stroke.

Wilson's presidency was important and the museum provided a good deal of information in a fairly small space through pictures and text on the walls. Not a high tech operation, but worth doing. Ladies at the desk were ready to answer any questions and provide...More

President Wilson's home was very modest as was the library. The 2 best things was his car and the basement where WW1 was re-elected in a bunker. It was very realistic. I didn't stay for the tour of the home. Beautiful Historical neighborhood.
