We spent about an hour walking along the trails and bridges in this amazing find in Smithfield. It was peaceful, but well traveled as we passed dozens of people all along the trail. Maps are placed throughout the park to help guide you along your way. The mileage tips were helpful. I only wish I lived closer so I could... More

The castle is not a castle. It was an older house that the public is not allowed in. The trails were nice to walk. The dog park was new. They are doing a lot of improvements, but there is not much to it now.

Wonderful under any conditions. Walking, running, bird watching, or paddle board - all activities will be in a clean, well kept and peaceful park. The dog park, which is the best in the region, is really two parks; a big one for big dogs and another for the smaller guys.

Great place to take your kids and/or pets for a peaceful walk. The trails are well maintained. There is also a kayak launch site where you can bring your own or you can rent single and double kayaks on the weekends. There is a nice fenced in dog area.

Park by Smithfield Station and take the boardwalk over the wetlands to the park proper, and you will see wildlife in rhe water as well as around the 3.5 mile Park trail. Take the shady route under the tree canopy this time of year. It is a great early morning or sunset experience.

We were going to rent kayaks, but it was just too hot. It was very nice. It didn't look like what I would consider a castle, but it is a great place for walking, running, biking, etc.

Best place to hike and kayak in the area. Nice views of the tidal Cypress Creek, tributaries, vineyard and historic Windsor Castle farmhouse and barns. Site of many local fests and events. About 3 miles around the park. You wont be disappointed!
