Don't miss this. Absolutely beautiful. We hiked 6 miles of the Greenway, crossed river, saw birds galore, nice statues along the path and so peaceful. Lots of places to rest and facilities available.

Nice natural area along the river. Great for walking or bicycling. Long enough for a good workout and speaking of workout, you should try the exercises along the greenway in Roanoke!

The green way is very nice. Great for walking, running, biking etc. People are mostly very courteous and non intrusive. Also it's easy access for fishing. Whether you will catch anything or not I don't know. Go enjoy what your tax $ has provided.
