What a great place. Huge RV camping sites, clean bathrooms and showers, great trails, picnic spots by the James. Everything you could want, and more.

Was lucky enough to find a vacancy last minute at this beautiful State Park. The sites were level, private and spacious. The bathhouse was very clean and the camp hosts were friendly.

The biggest factor is the river flow, it could take anywhere from an hour to three hours for a lazy float. Check with the rangers on the river's condition before you go.
