Michael and Dianne were amazing. Michael walked us through the museum and taught us all about it. Definitely recommend it!

Awesome visit! Folks were friendly and knowledgeable! My two-year old grandson loved it!! A must see if you’re a train lover!

This museum is on the actual train! It is continually being restored by donations. It is not only fun for small kids but keeps the adults attention with railroad history.

This is a must see for any visitor to Portsmouth, Virginia, the city where "rails meet sails". The museum includes a steam locomotive display, passenger cars and a caboose, plus many historical artifact of interest to rail historians as well as the casual visitor.

If you love trains or traveling by train, this is a must see. In town on business and we called the museum to see if they were open. Curator says no, they were closed. After hanging up we got a return call from the museum...More

The Curator of this museum could not have been nicer! As she knew that we would only be in the area one day, and on a day that they are closed, she came and opened the museum just for us, and she and her husband...More
