This tour company goes above and beyond the others to make your experience special. First off, the crew Naomi, Brit and Fraser were so kind, interested and knowledgeable. The snorkelling spots were pristine with an abundance of wildlife and you get plenty of time in the water overall. We observed manta rays barrel rolling (backflipping) right underneath us which was amazing. The lunch and snacks were plentiful and tasty. But best of all, if they spot one of ningaloo’s bigger residents (in our case we got extremely lucky with a tiger shark, a hammerhead shark, and a tawny nurse shark) they let you have a quick swim with them which was a once in a lifetime experience for us. Importantly though, they send a guide in first to assess if the animal is comfortable with our presence, so respect for wildlife and animal welfare always seemed top priority, as it should be.

Super friendly staff, well organized and good gear. The crew were professional and informative and the reef amazing. Managed to get close to some manta rays and had enough time to explore the reef. Cheers guys!

Just amazing. We were looking forward to this boat trip for weeks & it didn’t disappoint! Highlight of our Australia trip. We swam with the manta rays for 1 hour while around 10 visited their cleaning station, max 6 at a time. Then we also went to a nurse shark cleaning station and saw around 20, as well as this we saw loggerhead & green turtles as well as cuttlefish, eels, lots of fish, coral etc.
Knowledgeable & friendly team & we hope to return someday!

We had an unforgettable snorkeling day with the team from Ningaloo Marine Interactions. The team is super friendly and takes care of every participant. We really saw everything we could have dreamed of: colorful fish, turtles, giant manta rays that we could swim with for minutes!!! and a whole group of reef sharks. The team spared no effort to show us the best spots on the reef and never tired of diving into the underwater world with us. We can wholeheartedly recommend this trip and will never forget it. Thank you for this experience!

This was one of those days that i will remember for all of my life..
The first stop was a nice coral garden with a snorkel through to deeper waters where we saw a reef shark and a couple turtles.. next stop was to snorkel with mantas… we saw so many and one of them somersaulted under me for what seemed ages..another big wow moment..
In between the next snorkel we saw lots of green turtles poking their heads up from the water, info pacific dolphins ..and then we stopped as we saw a tiger shark..
5 minutes later I was in the water following the tiger..for what seemed like a couple minutes.. wow..just wow..!!!
The last snorkel had some lovely coral, and lots of different small fish… and then it was back to the boat ramp and a 10 min bus back to coral bay..
What a day, and the two girls and captain certainly knew their stuff, and were also chatty and helpful..

We had the best day. Spectacular views of Coral Bay & surrounds. There were so many snorkelling opportunities & we saw an abundance of marine life on our trip, manta ray, tiger shark, humpback whales, dolphins, turtles 1000’s of fish and also the incredible Ningaloo Reef. Our crew, Fraser, Naomi & Brittany were sensational, very professional & shared their wealth of knowledge with us all throughout the day. The hamburgers we had for lunch were delicious too. I highly recommend Ningaloo Marine Interactions. Thank for such a memorable day. John & Michelle

It was an amazing tour! The crew where very friendly and we saw mantarays coral reef sharks tiger shark humpback whales and turtles. The hamburger was delicious aswell.

This was a really brilliant trip, well worth the money. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable and we saw so many amazing creatures. When I missed the first sighting of the manta ray because my mask came off just as we were getting in, the girls made sure I was first off to see it on the second go and made a lot of effort to make sure I was in the right spot to see it. I loved the whole day.

Fantastic tour, very knowledgeable tour guides and crew. Snorkelled some of the best sites available, saw turtles, rays, dolphins, whales and swam with a manta ray.

As a family group of five adults (20s to 60s) we had a wonderful day out on the Utopia with skipper Frazer and a prefessional and well organised group of crew/snorkeling guides who were all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The boat is not a large vessel, so the experience is quite intimate, and we travelled all around the lagoon looking for (and finding) all sorts of wonderful wildlife. Lunch was delicious hamburgers (meat or veggie). Of course, swimming with the manta rays was very, very special. There was a lovely low key approach that clearly respected the area and all its extraordinary wildlife (rather than just as a commodity to be exploited). The website advises bringing whatever is necessary to keep you warm, which is very good advice (although there are little nooks in the boat out of the wind and in the sun that can be used to warm up). A particular thanks to the hard working photographer who provided a wonderful set of memories as part of the tour.

Hi! Are you allowed to freedive in this tour? Also if attended on the warmer months, do you have to wear a wetsuit or can you wear a bathing suit instead?

I am interested to know when is the best time to visit and swim with the Manta Rays. Coming from New York it's kind of important that I do this correctly and not arrive at the wrong time of year

Hello!
We are really lucky to have a resident population of Mantas all year round. There are sporadic days we don’t see them but it is very rare.
I would recommend March, April or May as the water temp is nice and warm!

They wont go unless there is at least 4 people. We had 10 on our tour and that was fine. They really make sure everyone has a great experience whatever your swimming ability is. Would highly recommend this company.

No more than 20. Its not a huge boat, but they are well organised, especially for the Manta swim where they split into 2 groups, one swimming and one getting ready to jump in. Pick up, swap and repeat for 2-3 swims depending on day.

Yes we provide short wetsuits on tour. Long ones are available to hire from the dive shop next door if you require.
