By booking early, we were able to reserve ourselves an ensuite cabin for their 6 day/night sail along the Ningaloo Reef.
We soon settled into the grove of either joining the small group of six for their snorkel/dive trips, or quiet simply, go for a swim and sunbath with a glass of sparkles… whatever takes you fancy at the time. No doubt, with your coggles on, the variety of fish and coral you get too see is immense to the extend it’s hard not to go on the snorkel/dive trips as you feel you may miss out. My partner is not good in the water, but with a bit of persuasion by the experienced crew, she soon had her head under water swimming alongside a giant Mantra. Two of the guides took her side by side and pulled her through the water feeling very comfortable and exilarated by the whole experience. This just proves that Sail Ningaloo is for everybody, not just for the experienced aqua(wo)men.
Than there is the food…fresh, tasty, varied and in abundance! A well stocked bar that will keep
your thirst quenched and a comfy cabin (recommending the ensuite variety) to retire into generally early evening as the day starts around 7am daily with brekky served. So, all in all an amazing 6 days onboard with Chris (Captain), Hendrick (‘Fritz’😉-Dive Master) and ‘Gee’ as our hostess of the mostess with most of her time spend in the Galley feeding our tummies.
Henrick created an amazing video of us during our 6 days onboard and more so under water, whilst Chris made sure to get us into the best snorkel/dive spots whilst ensuring our overnight comfort by anchoring off in calm bays. Make sure you ask Chris to join you for an early morning swim…he’ll thank you for it🤔.
Thank you all for a great time and looking after us! John, Claire, Mandy & Alex
