Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Pinnacles are magnificent, haunting snd beautiful. This excellent visitor centre has plenty of parking and a nice looped walk before you walk or drive down to the pinnacles themselves. Plenty of info boards that tells you about the flora and fauna, the geology and the pinnacles themselves.

The visitors centre is well presented and give history about the region, fauna and flora of the park and pinnacles as well as local history. The thing we wanted to know most if how they were formed and why here? Yes at the very end it does give some insight to their creation but the jury is still out on a definitive reason what they exist. The shop at exit is very nice if want some memory of visit or of Australia or great kids books for young kids. How could any small child not enjoy Edward the Emu, etc, still in the book case at home after many decades.

We went here first upon arrival at the Park. Lovely design sitting unobtrusively in the environment. No clarity on which door to enter so finished starting at the shop - which was of no interest and on into the exhibition from what transpired to be the end (see above).
Lots of stuff about flora and fauna as well as the “traditional guardians” but we found nothing on why the Pinnacles are there. Seems a glaring omission? Note - Wikipedia does it very well.
I fear retail is more important to the operators than education…..

Lucky that we had received some information on the Cervantes area at Lancelin Visitor Centre The Cervantes Centre is located in a building which includes a news agency, post office, gift shop, lotto etc. One lady working who directed us to a shelf containing various brochures. I should have looked closer, the brochure I selected was dated 2015. Enough said.

Quite an informative centre, looks nice and modern despite being quite small. Would like more information on some of the theories how the Pinnacles were formed. The gift shop next door was OK, most of the stuff you could buy even at the Perth Airport.

We enjoyed an interesting morning waking around the pinnacles. Fascinating! At the gallery there are exhibits with fresh information and real bugs, snake etc. Both the gift shop attendants were friendly and helpful. Employable day out :-)

Probably not as much information available hence the rather small display and information. Felt it could be more interactive and used for graphics or multimedia to present what happened to produce the rocky landscape.

A bit of a drive from Perth but worth it. Unusual, $15 entry fee per car but it also includes entry into Yanchep National Park whichwe did on the way back and saw Kangaroos, Koalas and birds

What are the opening times? Planning to go in 2 weeks and leave Perth at 6 to get there as earthly as possible before the heat sets in. Is it worth it to go super early in the morning?
