    We came with high expectations
With high expectations, today (Fathers' Day) we came with another couple to spoil ourselves with a "luxury luncheon experience". From the outset we were overwhelmed by the restaurant's spectacular interior grandeur and the stunning view through the high floor-to-ceiling windows. Our culinary expectations were increased by such a beautiful dining environment. For mains we ordered the Pork and the Market Fish (Blue Eye), with Rocket Salad. When the main dishes arrived, we were VERY impressed at the way they were beautifully presented on the plates....B U T unfortunately both the Pork and Fish were "too dry". The Salad looked and tasted "ordinary". So disappointing at such a beautiful "high end" venue !!
Thank you for sharing your feedback, Don. We are glad you enjoyed the setting but we're disappointed to hear about your dining experience. Our service standards are centred around providing our guests with a best-in-class dining experience, so we apologise for not meeting these standards in this case. If you wish to discuss further, we welcome the conversation. Wishing you and your company a happy Father’s Day and all the best -YS

    Amazing John the wine dude
We did a wine tasting with John the Canadian. In our short time there he actually taught us how to drink and appreciate wine (without being condescending). He really engaged with all of us and spoke of his love of wine and wine making. The Pinot and Chardonnay were our favourites. Wish we’d bought more.

The little things that ruin a visit
Went with a group of eight for lunch. Great venue with a fantastic outlook. The waitress was lovely and very professional. Sadly she was let down by the kitchen. Eye fillet ordered medium was more medium well. The worst thing was that the sides came out about 8-10 minutes after the mains were served. This meant that people had waited for them to compete their meal (which was now cold) or had basically finished their meal before they arrived. This also created a bit of agro at the table and changed the entire mood of the lunch. It is simply not good enough when you drop $1000 on the table for lunch to get this level of service. They are sides that are supposed to be served with the main course, not desert. Will not be going back.

My husband and I did a wine tasting. Edward was awesome! He was very knowledgeable about the wines and his kindness made the experience very special.

We visited the restaurant with my family today. While clean, the restaurant looked tired and it looked like there was a broken door in the restaurant (which has been boarded up). Sadly there was no baby facilities in the toilet (despite there being a child menu for kids from 2 years onwards). While the food was delicious, the service was poor. The waitress that served us was inexperienced and rushed (even though we had told her to slow down and take her time). In her haste to clear the plates she dropped a dirty knife and fork on my 2year old son. Without much sincere acknowledgement of the incident or apology from the waitress or restaurant manager, we still paid the full bill (there was no offer from the restaurant to reduce the bill for any inconvenience). It was a terribly negative experience especially when we had travelled so far to have a family lunch. We felt rushed to eat and felt not wanted at the restaurant - a far cry from the “finest vineyard” it boasts to be. We will not be returning.

A gorgeous property with wine tasting, restaurant and sculpture park ... something for everyone (if you're interest in booze, views and maybe a snooze in the woods!)

Rude staff and the worst wine-tasting experience. Not worth the time. Please don't waste time and money- go to other lovely wineries nearby instead.

Visited here for a special birthday celebration and it was a gorgeous day - lunch overlooking the peaceful fields.
We opted for the 2 course menu and had a local beer to start before sharing a local Shiraz.
Our entree was salmon , large in size for an entree & beautifully presented.
Main was lamb accompanied by potatoes & zucchini flowers - delicious.

After visiting a number of wineries & restaurants in the area, Yering Station was a stand out amongst them all. Our little touring group collectively agreed that Yering Station ticked all the boxes in relation to a stunning venue, great wine, amazing food & most importantly customer service. While our hosts were mostly young people, they were accommodating, mature and most importantly not judgmental with good humour.
