Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We chose to visit the waterfall earlier in the day to beat the heat, so glad we did as the steep track to the viewing area was also covered in loose gravel and trip hazards made it hard going. There’s an handrail along the steepest part which helped when you needed that little bit of help!
The view was reasonably good and having a bench seat up there and only being the two of us, we sat and listened to the tranquil sounds of nature. A perfect start to our day.
Well worth the effort to get to the top.

I did the 10 minute walk (average fitness) to this waterfall, the day after heavy rain. You could hear the water fall as you approached. Highly recommend due to the short walk and the view of the waterfall . Daughter said it was an easy walk and was short enough not to ask 'are we there yet?'

My wife and I visited this place during our recent holiday in Lorne and along The Great Ocean Road.

We have seen many waterfalls in various countries (including Niagara Falls) and within Australia.

This waterfall is different as the water flows on the surface of the rocky cliff and there is no "fall" as such. More of a glide.

Pretty waterfall.

Good carparking.

Sign says 15 minutes walk.

I am not that fit but I did the uphill walk in about 8 minutes with a couple of breathers to take photos.

Take a driving stop here and stretch your legs.

It had been raining so there was plenty of water.

Well worth a stop to stretch the legs - about 500 m up hill to lookout point.
Falls are not close but spectacular scenery

It's only about 15-20 minutes to hike an uphill (but not steep) grade to the falls viewpoint. Worth the short walk for a nice view of some lovely falls. Was a nice stop along our 2-day Great Ocean Road visit.

The scenery and calmness of the place is amazing; however, during public holidays lots of tourist from outside and interstate come to the place. Good to be early bird to enjoy the refreshing tranquility of the water fall and take some memorable photos. Watch out for the slippery surfaces and casual snakes, though not dangerous.

when you drive along the great ocean road, be sure to stop at this lookout which is not very visibly signed. it is a 15 minute walk to the lookout, nice to stretch you legs after a long drive.
the waterfall would be more impressive after rains but it still is a beautiful vista.
