Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There is a network of bike/walking paths around and through this reserve. It is dotted with a number of artificial lakes of various sizes. Fishing is one activity but it would appear Carp is on the menu.
Lots of birdlife here, from Ducks to Pelicans.
There are walking and running organised activities on weekends.
Recently (mid 2017) some additional paths have been put down and 3 bridges to connect them are being built. But these bridges are taking an age to build spoiling the effect.. No idea why simple bridge building takes so long, longer than widening the Monash freeway!
A pity the fountain is yet again not working.
The park does lack some amenitities. No toilets, no Bar-b-Q's and a cluster of seating in one area but not spread right around the area. Bad planing by those responsible.
Overall though, a great spot to visit and walk or cycle in a family group. Especially if you nearby as we do.

The name doesn’t sound to promising but the drain reserve is an amazing place to bring the kids. features a great gazebo overlooking a lake and a fenced playground a 100 metres further down. good place to let the kids run off energy
TIP: park on Loxley Boulevard to access gazebo and playground.
