We stopped there on the way to Gravel Beach and the stunning view of the Tamar River was epic. A good stop by to rest and have a break.

This spot, overlooking the Tamar Valley is reputedly where Matthew Brady and his gang looked out for coaches and potential victims travelling along the roads below. It is a spectacular spot atop a rocky scarp and very well worth a visit. There's plenty of parking...More

I ventured here after work. It got dark quickly however the road was good to drive on and the lookout was very well signposted. I had a great even view of the winding river and the lights from the nearby areas. Well worth a visit

One of many pretty spots along the tamar river. Well worth a drive from Launceston to Beauty point or George Town. This lookout is an interesting stop

This lookout is very easily accessed from both sides of the highway. There is a little walk up to the lookout but it is well worth it, about 5 minutes to the top. The views are stunning.
