Loved this walk. 4 days 3 nights Bay of Fires walk. I’m just starting lux hiking in my late 60s after a lifetime of climbing and unguided wilderness hiking. Highlights were the opportunity for a daily swim at some of the most beautiful beaches I have seen and Francisco the guide. Great bloke. Highly recommended for those seeking a little more comfort ie no snow in your tent Kieran Kelly

We did the 3 day long weekend. Day 1 was a long beach walk to the lodge, Day 2 short walks and kayak, Day 3 free time and a short walk out. The lodge is amazing and staff even more so. Food is generous and delicious and lots of alcohol is available. A few tips - The packing list is pretty good except for you need to pack 3 pairs of shoes not 2. Boots, kayaking footwear and comfortable shoes for evening (plus socks). You don’t need 2l of water bottles - 1l is plenty. Take your towel in the backpack - the best place to swim was lunch on day 1 (I did and it was lovely). Lodge beach was very rough when we were there. We took a dry bag for the kayak to put phones in so we could take photos which worked well. The spa was an amazing view even if you don’t use it worth a wander over. We did the outdoor bath and it was so good. Highly recommended- wonderful experience

A walk that anybody can do, I would recommend to do some beach walking beforehand. Delicious food, wine and company with great knowledgeable guides. Fantastic accommodation that you can only experience by doing the walk. So many highlights and experiences you'll never forget.

Hi AliceR641, Thanks so much for your review. It sounds like you had a great time out at the Bay of Fires with us! Doing some training prior to the walk does make it so much more enjoyable – as the beach walking can be a bit challenging at time. I hope you can come back and join us for another walk. Kind regards, Ros
