The Seppeltsfield Village is based around the unique and irreplaceable Seppeltsfield fortified wine collection. All our actions aim to meet the guiding principle of "sympathetic development" in harmony with Joseph and Benno Seppelts' original ideas. This means that whatever new activities we undertake at Seppeltsfield, they should respect both tradition and environment.

Was here around Christmas time and it was packed with people. It's one of the busiest wineries on Barossa as it is well known, big, has a restaurant and it's famous for its beautiful tree lined roads. Friendly staff, good wines and beautiful architecture . Brilliant !

Took my two children & partners & 5 grandchildren. The newly revamped Seppeltsfield Winery is classy. Allowed the children to enjoy a "tasting" of their cordial - kids loved it. Adults enjoyed their great wines - & they have top ports!! Then we all enjoyed a picnic in the expansive & beautiful grounds of the winery. The shop has beer,... More

Que palms...lots & lots of palms set amongst vines...miles & miles of beautiful vines. Tuscany in the Barossa, this cellar door was an unexpected jewel from the drive in to the drive out. Tastings...fortified wines were our purchases to the restaurant, gallery & grounds. Loved our stop, I actually though from our approach from the carpark we were about to... More

The food history and sheer imagination of the Prussian/Polish family that started this winery is quite inspiring. We did a day tour off the Indian Pacific with a degustation. It was a really hot day and sitting in a tin shed was not ideal but the historical information provided very very impressive. The chef is passionate and loves the history... More

Was not expecting this winery to be so great. Beautiful palm tree entrance, Jam factory had great things to see and buy. Fino restaurant had delicious food, creative and beautiful to look at topped with super friendly service. We also did the Tawny tasting and history tour. David our guide was so knowledgeable. And he's expertise made the tasting of... More

Our tour was done by a very informative lady who had a connection with the vineyard for many years. An average amount of walking was done but not to many steps. We were shown parts of the vineyard not normally open to the public some of which dated back to when the vineyard was first built. Great tour if you... More

Great winery to visit as there's more to do and see than just wine tasting. There are the organised tours, the Jam Factory art and design collective to visit. The restaurant is lovely with interesting options. The grounds themselves are beautifully maintained and they're nice to explore. Well worth a visit!

$15 gives you a wonderful 45 minute history of the Vineyard. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Pur giide was hospitable and well informed. We tasted a few wines. Great experience.

This place is huge. So much more to see and do than just taste wine. You can drink, eat, buy artist's ceramic ware, leather products, hats and take a tour. Extremely interesting for a visit and allow yourself at least an hour and longer if you're taking a tour.
