The Seppeltsfield Village is based around the unique and irreplaceable Seppeltsfield fortified wine collection. All our actions aim to meet the guiding principle of "sympathetic development" in harmony with Joseph and Benno Seppelts' original ideas. This means that whatever new activities we undertake at Seppeltsfield, they should respect both tradition and environment.

Visited this winery with the view to taste some port from our friends birth year. Enjoyed a tour of the original homestead and then the old cellar. Mind blowing cellar with vintage ports stored in barrels dated from 1878 to today. Amazing that someone decided...More

Seppeltsfield is a very interesting location - lots of history, beautiful historic buildings and modern architecture. Roaming the gardens and the jam centre was great. The wine - well for a place specialising in historic fortified wines- was good. Nothing specialMore

Enjoyable. As a cellar door it is very commercialised and purchases need to be collected from another building on your way out. Wines are enjoyable. There is a separate group of fortified wines to the standard ones listed that you may taste at an added...More

We found the tour of Seppeltsfield interesting and worth the visit. The wines are limited as the fortified wines are the focus of the vineyard. We finished off with a delicious lunch at the restaurant Fino.

You must go here to look at all the lovely old buildings, just lovely. But once again a big winery that didn't make you feel very welcome with your tasting. As not enough staff on to make people feel important for their tasting.More

The whole winery/vineyard here is massive. It is steeped in heritage though I mainly went to sample the wines. The food here was also enjoyable. It was definitely worth the trip up from Adelaide.
