The Seppeltsfield Village is based around the unique and irreplaceable Seppeltsfield fortified wine collection. All our actions aim to meet the guiding principle of "sympathetic development" in harmony with Joseph and Benno Seppelts' original ideas. This means that whatever new activities we undertake at Seppeltsfield, they should respect both tradition and environment.

We were saving Seppeltsfield for last as we expected grandeur but unfortunately left underwhelmed. We called to book in for the historic tour but were told there needed to be a minimum of 4. We said we would be coming in anyway and would check when we were there. I was impressed that I got a call to advise the... More

We have been visiting Seppeltsfield for many years and have always loved it and would still recommend the centenary tour. Our recent visit was a bit of a disappointment which resulted in us leaving before we were served. We're were sent to a tasting booth and initially greeted but then stood there for over 10 minutes with no service even... More

This was my second time at Seppeltsfield and the placed has changed a lot in 4 years! Despite the cellar door being very busy we received excellent service from Brett. I did test his knowledge of Seppeltsfield and he was able to answer all my questions very well! I love good Port so this is definitely the place for me,... More

Imagine going into a vast loft with barrels of port which date back to 1876 and finding your two birth year barrels, then sampling and reliving all that has happened since that year!

Thank you for taking the time to review our wonderful Centennial Cellar, started in 1878 when the building was completed by Benno Seppelt it is a true Australian Wine legacy. Tasting a wine direct from barrel from your birth year is an amazing experience and we are glad you were able to enjoy the history it contains. Kind regards, Nicole. More

A lovely place, enjoyed a very pleasant picnic on the lawn purchased from the cafe with our young children. Will be back soon to try the restaurant. It felt like we were in another country, not an hour from where we live

Food, service, wine impeccable at Fino Restaurant. Menu designed to be shared. Be prepared to pay for perfection though as food is on upper end of expense (don't expect large dishes either as the normal main is four dishes shared between two) but worth it! Some dishes are also bit on unique side - with not many restaurants offering dishes... More

The restaurant and wine tasting are located amongst the manicured gardens. The building is newly renovated but the toilets are outside in the old section. We sampled the port as we were looking to buy a wine barrel. Kerry, staff member was lovely and helpful and knew her barrels! It was too hot to walk around the grounds but would... More
