The Seppeltsfield Village is based around the unique and irreplaceable Seppeltsfield fortified wine collection. All our actions aim to meet the guiding principle of "sympathetic development" in harmony with Joseph and Benno Seppelts' original ideas. This means that whatever new activities we undertake at Seppeltsfield, they should respect both tradition and environment.

A lovely place, enjoyed a very pleasant picnic on the lawn purchased from the cafe with our young children. Will be back soon to try the restaurant. It felt like we were in another country, not an hour from where we live

Food, service, wine impeccable at Fino Restaurant. Menu designed to be shared. Be prepared to pay for perfection though as food is on upper end of expense (don't expect large dishes either as the normal main is four dishes shared between two) but worth it! Some dishes are also bit on unique side - with not many restaurants offering dishes... More

Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate you taking the time to review Seppeltsfield Estate. I'll be sure to pass along your comments to FINO restaurant, it is a delight to have them amongst the winery. The Centennial Cellar certainly is a part of Australian history, dating back to 1878 (just one year older!). We look forward to welcoming you... More

The restaurant and wine tasting are located amongst the manicured gardens. The building is newly renovated but the toilets are outside in the old section. We sampled the port as we were looking to buy a wine barrel. Kerry, staff member was lovely and helpful and knew her barrels! It was too hot to walk around the grounds but would... More

Thank you for your kind comments, I'll be sure to pass these along to Kerrie. We certainly did have some warm weather in South Australia last week....we hope you can make it back to Seppeltsfield to enjoy the gardens at a more pleasant temperature in the future. Kind regards, Nicole. More

The wine tasting together with food tasting was great. While the tasting is going on you are given a lesson on the rich history of the winery which is very interesting. Trying the 'PORT' of your birth year, although pricey, is a must do. It is nectar of the gods. A wonderful experience

Thank you for your feedback on our tasting and tours, its sound like you enjoyed the Solero Canape tasting along with the rare experience of being able to taste your own birth year from barrel - a truly unique offering, and one that can only be found at Seppeltsfield in Australia! We look forward to welcoming you back again one... More

We are spoilt to have the Barossa so close to us. Afternoon Port tastings at Seppeltsfield. The lovely assistant described the 4 Ports we tasted ($20 tasting cost) and described them well. So well we tried them all. If you are going to buy a Port do a tasting first! We took home the 1987 Para Liqueur Tawny which is... More

Everyone says this is a must do The cellar door wines were not interesting and below average I understand the only reason to go is the 100 year port taste for AUD 70. Didn't seem worth it Ate at the restaurant and found it to be over priced for pretty average food Overall experience was disappointing

This place is well worth a visit. It is along the beautiful palm lined Seppeltsfield Road and you drive along this historic complex as you approach. It is absolutely steeped in history. As you learn more about the history it is clear how the vision of a number of amazing people have shaped it and the area over time. It... More
