Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amazing place - so much history - beautiful grounds - has a craft/artisan area with great artists - knife maker - leather work. The drive with all the palm tress is amazing & the family mausoleum. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful old buildings make up the wine tasting room and restaurant. Old history associated with the winery. Many other activities apart from wine tasting like segway tours and back of house tours. Some beautiful wines to taste. Well worth the visit.

Jonathan was an amazing tour guide and host! We came through with a tour group and were so lucky to have Jonathan as our host for the afternoon! His knowledge and passion was outstanding, we could have listened to his stories all day! He also made sure to explain all of the beautiful food and wine we were wasting during our lunch. I can't wait to bring my next group through, and hope to have Jonathan as our guide again. Thank you for your fun personality and sharing so much with us, we had a great time and left smiling (and with a few bottles of wine)!

Great experience. Had the RAA members lunch at Fino restaurant…pay for three course meal but get upgraded to a four course meal. Set menu but was great. Tasty.

Included was a tasting. This was a highlight. Lots of wine to enjoy and laughs with our hostess.

Seppeltsfield is well worth the visit. Lots to see and do.

If you an RAA member I would strongly suggest that deal. If not a member….join…..

This was the best finale to a great day. Even though the restaurant was full we certainly didn't mind the wait with going with the tastings until we could have a table. The sharing platters were melt in your mouth and we have to congratulate the wonderful staff for what seemed to be a hectic busy time for the day they didn't expect. My husband and his friend chose to go and taste the port from the vat from the year of their birth and was so worth the tour. A great finish to our day.

Another memorable outing at Seppeltsfield. Young Aaron was very knowledgeable, answered our every question and accommodated requests to set up extra tastings. He even offered to accompany us to the car with an umbrella when it began to rain. First rate service to match the unrivalled port. The ‘66 hangs in the glass like treacle. Very dark with concentrations of dried fruit, raisins, walnuts. Stunning.

This is a very beautiful location. The person serving our wines during the tasting was a little gruff and humorless, I didn't feel totally welcome. The wine was nice, but we did taste better wines from the area, so wouldn't put this down as a must when tasting in the area.
