Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Historic railway station from a bygone era. Not much else at Grandchester but there is a small park on outskirts if you take a picnic lunch near Grandchester Mini railway

Travelled to this railway station on the Grandchester Express from The Workshops Railway Museum. Well presented building with story boards to explain the significance and history of the location. The stop at this destination enhanced the overall train trip and developed an interest in driving the Cobb & Co tourist route to learn more about this part of the world.

This is an excellent place for children. 3 little trains running round carrying passengers. $2 a trip.

Went to the wrong place at first, the old station, also open on the 1st Sunday, but nothing much there. Some people have rated this based on the wrong place.

The model railway area was packed. Very popular. Well over 100 people there at 11am.

This is a small station, and is open by volunteers only once a month. Please take a road trip out to check it out. The people there were very helpful and informative. Very interesting to see all the things in the old station.

Only open Sundays, no advice given. Disappointed after driving all that way from Coominya on the Cabb and Co trail . Brochure needs to be updated advising people.

We attended the Steamfest at Grandchester Railway Station in July 2015. There is lots of history at this location. Part of the first railroad in Queensland in 1865. Just 30 minutes west of Ipswich.

Old historical railway station, used to catch a train here when a kid, seems to be the same as I recall, seen how the tracks are changed and water tanks for the steam locos etc.
