This is my favourite place to take all of my many visitors . The small privately owned park is one of the best animal parks to see our wonderful Australian animals up close. The staff are friendly and clearly enjoy their work , their talks and shows are great.. Spotless suroundings , easy wheel chair access and reasonable prices make... More

This was an absolute gem and the kids loved it. Given the really reasonable entry fee we expected this would be the kind of attraction that would hold the kids attention for about a couple of hours but we could have spent the whole day. It's a really quiet little place with maybe two dozen patrons there all day which... More

This is a small zoo however you get to see the great efforts that put into the place. You won't miss any presentations due to the size of the zoo therefore you can the most of it. The owner and the staff are both very informative, and you can obviously see their professionalism in handling the animal with passion. Everybody... More

We had a great time at this park. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. It was a hands on and educational experience. Lots of opportunities to touch the animals under the watchful eye of the staff. Highly recommended!

Far better than the large City Zoos with their overcrowded and underperforming shows. This place shows you the reptiles and snakes so close up and the demonstrations are first class. Recommend you go the extra distance and see this attraction.

My boyfriend and I stopped here as part of a tour we were on heading to the Great Barrier Reef. This zoo is so well done. It is a smaller zoo so it meant when there were presentations, there was plenty of room and no crowding. The zookeepers were very knowledgeable, the information on the snakes was excellent, and their... More

We came across Snakes Down Under during our trip up the east coast. We are a family of 4 from England with 2 adult 'children'. We were so pleased we stopped as it turned out to be one of the best experiences of our Australian trip! It was inexpensive and very well worth the money. The staff were very friendly... More
