Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Bragged to my husband about my experiwnce coming here a decade before only to be significantly let down. Ensured we got there during factory hours only to see people fixing a packing machine and no cheese production in sight. Went next door to the shop for cheese tasting and there were three cheeses in a corner under a plastic lid: firecracker, wasabi and the crumbs of a garlic/olive that were too small to be tasted on a toothpick- not at all family friendly. Staff stood at the cash register bot engaging us except to ask if we were purchasing ice cream and when declined she ignored us. Overall very disappointing :(

Website advises open every day except Christmas Day, I rang day before Anzac Day to check and was told open until 3pm. After driving from Eden got there to find a hand written note on the door ‘closed’
Bad customer service, wouldn’t bother going back

Great service, and real cheese…how cheese should taste, unlike the cheap, tasteless supermarket cheese. Have a taste test, you won’t be able to resist buying!

This is the 2nd time we've had an icecream here. They sell norgen vaaz, and it's seriously the best. If you like ginger you'll love theirs as it has huge chunks of ginger throughout. And they so generous with their scoops. We decided to have 2 different flavours and it was pulled high. $5 for 1 scoop, $6.50 for 2 scoopes , so have 2. Better value lol. The rum and raisen and salted caramel are excellent as well.

located at the northern end of Central Tilba, its only a short walk from the Bates General store at the other end of town and the stroll down the main street is one of like's pleasures to see such a historical town so well preserved
The dairy itself didnt seem to be in production on the saturday we visited but the display store is worth a visit to view their diverse range of produce and some of the historical photos that do the walls

After visiting the markets walked to the cheese factory. Walked out with a variety of cheeses and a yoghurt, which was highly recommended. Service was efficient, knowledgeable about the products and friendly.

I would not drive a long way to visit this place but it's worth a visit if you are in Central Tilba. You can taste several cheeses before you buy. They also sell ice cream, but not a product that is home-made. It used to be an exciting place to visit but seems to be changed now. The service is friendly.

If you like cheese and yoghurt yes. Go on a Sat and combine with markets. The Dromedary hotel did an excellent seafood linguine and the local wine was good
