LINDA. The woman of the year. Not only did Linda cater for a large group at the last minute (due to another venue cancelling) she went to extraordinary lengths to ensure our experience was wholesome and enjoyable. Her knowledge and humour were second to none and she made us all feel at home. It was seamless. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and the day couldn’t have been more perfect. The wines were divine and many of the group went home with a couple of bottles. I can’t speak highly enough of this outstanding group of people in a stunning winery. Thank you just doesn’t feel like enough.

We had such a fun wine tasting in the new marquee yesterday! Tammie was so bubbly and gave us loads of local knowledge not only about the wines but also places to visit in the region. Love the relaxed vibe and that the wines are named after family. This is a winery that is unpretentious and welcoming.

2nd visit yesterday. Found it was too busy with the staff available. No dialogue of each wine and lengthy delay between a few wines and felt like we were tasting in a bottle shop. Wines are quite nice but on pricey end at between $25 & $60+ a bottle. Bought a mixed case for $300 as part of our membership. Not sure we will be back after yesterday’s experience.

I did find this winery to be a little disappointing...Covid restrictions had been lifted, but they did not seem to be ready for patrons.. The restaurant/dining area was cold with no heating, the food was average, my minestrone was served lukewarm with no bread as they had forgotten to buy any, sticky date pudding was served with no cream or ice cream as once again they had forgotten to purchase it. The wines however were very nice and we did purchase a couple of bottles and the staff were quite friendly..

Absolutely wonderful vineyard. From the cute cows at entry and to the lush rural landscape that surrounds to the truly delicious wines and gorgeous staff.
My husband and I visited yesterday and had a fantastic tasting experience with the lady and gentlemen who catered to our every need.

We couldn’t pick as we loved every wine, so just had to buy almost everyone we tasted haha. Highly recommend if you’re touring the area, it’s definitely and welcoming and top class winery you don’t want to miss out on.

Thanks Cassandra, I'm so glad you and your husband had a pleasant experience at Cherry Tree Hill. I don't talk to the cows much but I get great pleasure hearing customers that love my wines. I hope, you are still enjoying them and look forward to seeing you when you need to stock up again!! Dave

We were seating in their tasting room which is a dirty open shed which is COLD and unwelcoming. No fire or heating.

The gentleman serving us had no interest in walking us through the wines, he just wanted to get rid of us as quickly as possible.

I found it very humorous that all his time was spent at a table of 4 ladies seated behind my husband and I and all his charm was used here. They got all the spiels on wine history and pairing suggestions whilst we were made to feel like were were just an inconvenience.

To top it off the little wine we did taste was terrible so I don’t think we missed much by leaving.

Was greeted today by the lovely Linda who made the experience fantastic even with no tastings available due to covid. I left with 4 different wines and so much knowledge and understanding. Linda literally knows everything! I’m having a glass of Sauvignon Blanc as I write this, and it is everything she said it would be.
So looking forward to trying everything else with her tips and tricks and also returning for a tasting soon.
Highly recommend.

The perfect little stop off between Sydney and Canberra...We always love to see Linda at the cellar door, gee she knows her stuff! The ‘Diana’ 2018 Chardonnay goes down like a dream...definitely my favourite wine from the region.

Thanks for the review Naturegirl, Your right about Linda. I learn from her every week. I'm glad that you enjoy our reserve chardonnay as well. Its one of my favourite wines to make. The 2018 vintage is almost gone, but the 2019 is just as good. Dave

We had a lovely experience with Cherry Hill - the lady was knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating. My friend and I did a wine tasting which was enjoyable, and the wines were very good. We both bought some wines, will be back to try more wines and buy favorites. The location is beautiful and peaceful. Well worth going.

We called in to Cherry Tree Hill Cellar Door on our way to Batemans Bay. We were greeted warmly by Linda, who conducted our tasting like we were old friends. What a lovely experience. She suggested pairing the Sauvignon Blanc with south coast oysters and prawns. Which we did. It was superb.
As we were leaving the winery we noticed that they offer a grazing board, which was tempting. We will be sure to return.

That looks so yum! I knew that our wines would be perfect with seafood and I am so happy it paired exactly as I had hoped. Yes - please come back and enjoy our tasting platter. It's a great way to relax while savouring some local produce and a few more of our wines! See you soon. Linda
