We aim to be pressing, bottling, brewing, stomping on Fridays & Saturdays every week so you can really experience the production of our wines, ciders and beers first hand. As the day gets on we bring down the tables and chairs and fire up the smokers and ovens for a casual dinning experience on weekend evenings until 10pm. Coming soon is our Smokey Sundays the perfect recovery session with chilled beats and smoked meats. We visited 10 years ago so went back in July 2020 to reminiss.... still the same beautiful old building and grounds. UNFORTUNATELY the carvery / a la carte restaurant menu is gone- we were offered a Chinese menu over the phone but when we arrived there was no offering of dinner. Chinese food in a quintessential colonial setting???? That's not right!! Nice manager but the ambiance is not the same plus the Bridal suite had very poor water pressure in the double shower- we could only use one shower on a low pressure. We paid alot for this room that we remember so fondly. Good coffee at the cafe.

We loved that the accommodation had its own country style and vibe. The staff were so lovely and friendly and we felt welcomed from the moment we checked in. The wines are fantastic and it's great to be able to duck over to the cellar door and cafe and then be able to sit out the front on the chairs away from the crowds and enjoy the view. For the price , this is well worth it. We had room 6 with the balcony which we loved ! Thanks for making it a special long weekend for us. We will definitely come back again.

Travelling from Lennox Head to Gundaroo 3-4 times a year always entails the compulsory morning tea on day two at the wonderful Elings Cafe. Great menu and the friendliest of service. A magnet for those looking for a refreshing stop.
Enjoyed the atmosphere this morning and look forward to our next southern travel this way.

We have now stopped here about 3 or 4 times on our up to Sydney from Melbourne and vice versa. ITs a lovely country winery with a nice cafe though this time now in April the menu was very limited. Bring back the chicken salad you had before pls! We sat outside in the sunshine and had the goats cheese tarts with a small salad. the surroundings are lovely, quiet and nice to have a break from the Hume hwy.
But would definitely suggest you come up with a new menu and more staff as the queue was long and so was the wait.

This was one of the wineries we stopped at as part of a broader winery tour and it was certainly one of the better ones.
It was well set up to accommodate the group with COVID restrictions The lady doing the tasting knew the history of the winery and a lot about the wines and how they are made (other wineries we visited didn’t know this). She also had the group laughing.
The coffee lovers in the group said the coffee was fantastic.

Setting and gardens are really beautiful but the food I ordered was average. I ordered the dips ( 2 small dips with about 10 biscuits and some olives). For the price it was really below standard. Such a shame because the location is really nice.

Stayed there last weekend, nice place but needs a big makeover. The kitchen was a bit dirty, blinds didn’t work. Staff friendly but not enough, took a long time to order breakfast and receive it. The cottage was very old and very cold not suitable for rent in my opinion. It’s also a 20 min drive to Bowral so a bit far out. With an upgrade could be a great place 😊

Very enjoyable. Friendly and quick service, with social distancing being observed. Nice atmosphere too. There were six of us and we all enjoyed our meals. Some also indulged in the tasty desserts. Then we did some wine tasting which is another building on the estate and bought some wine. Would come here again.

Loved the place, cafe and food. Would like to go back but the toilets are awful. They need a good inside paint, a clean up and a new soap dispenser in the women's facility. What a shame.

Stopped here for lunch at midday and ordered bacon and eggs on sourdough from the all day breakfast menu.
Having worked for many years in the food industry I can assure you that these eggs, bacon and bread were obviously prepared for breakfast and left to keep warm for the luncheon trade. The eggs were flat and rock hard, the bacon was too hard to chew and the sourdough had gone like cardboard. What a great shame, such an interesting place to stop over when heading to or from Canberra -- but not any more.
