Welcome to the Museum of Fire

We are a not for profit, registered charity and a true community museum.

As Australia's leading Fire Museum & Fire Collectibles Shop with over 30 years experience, we pride ourselves on quality and service. Many of us at the Museum are Firefighters. All profits raised go to educating our families to the dangers of fire and preserving the heritage of the communities bravest.

Group bookings welcome.

You will not be disappointed with your visit, there is something for all the family. Wishing you were a firefighter, enjoying the machinery, showing your respect, reliving past experiences, understanding fire as a friend or foe, visiting with friends or made to visit with the relatives, educating or entertaining the kids, for whatever reason you will enjoy your visit.

There is something for everyone, we look forward to seeing you soon.

Interesting, fun and factual learning for the kids! They even got to have a spin in an old fashioned fire truck, which even I thought was fun! A must for families during the school holidays!

A lot of things to look at, a lot of models and some interactive displays for the kids. A few of the trucks the kids can climb all over and have a bit of fun with. Certainly worth a visit, kids love it.

The Museum of Fire was a fantastic experience. I learnt so much on my visit. Although some sections are restricted, no climbing or touching the exhibits I didn't mind. Recommended for a family day out or people who have a keen interest in Fire Brigade history. The gift shop was stacked with a whole heap of souvenirs to take home.... More

We recently spent the morning at the Museum of Fire for my grandsons' 4th birthday. My 3 grandsons are four, 22 months and 21 months. My initial reaction was one of concern as the beginning displays were more adult focussed, and drew many questions from my 4 year old grandson about the "melted iron"!!!!!! The young boys raced through these... More

Hi Heather. We are so pleased to hear that you and your three grandchildren enjoyed celebrating your grandson’s 4th Birthday at the Museum. We try to make sure that we have exhibits that appeal to all of our audiences, so we are delighted to hear that both your older and younger ‘boys’ found things they enjoyed. And believe me, your... I took my son here he was so excited he is 5, he had fun. I thought it was a little out dated and old. you are not allowed to touch any of the fire trucks all you can pretty much do it walk around and read the information (which for 5 year old gets a bit boring) wouldn't waste... More

We have driven past the museum heaps of times are have thought about going in so with a couple of hours to spare it seemed a good idea. There is heap of information and displays so a couple of hours is easily spent. For those who like old machines and vehicles this is must. Good educational displays at the start... More
