We booked a Portugese wines and chocolate tasting at whispering Brook, it sounded different and frankly we were unfamiliar with portugese styles. What a stroke of luck to find this place ! It was a beautiful sunny winters day so we sat outside to catch some of that sunshine. We started with the Arinto paired with a lemon meringue Cocoa Nib artisan chocolate. Incredible! lemon and apply tones of the wine were lifted by the chocolate and there is such an enjoyable mouthfeel when pairing choolate and wine.
For me the best overall was the next one, the Touriga wine which had me speechless as my eyes rolled back and i sat in silent appreciation. I highly recommend going and seeing Alison who is a warm and welcoming host with enormous passion and knowledge to share.

What a pleasure to visit this winery. Our host was delightful and so knowledgeable on the wines. They also provided a delicious cheese plate. Definitely worth a visit.

Whispering Broke vineyard has stunning wines, especially the Shiraz & beautiful olive oils.
We had a private tasting & found the owner was very knowledgable suggesting foods for each wine. Very helpful.
We were renting a house which is located on the property for a birthday celebration which was stunning. It was surrounded by olive trees & vineyards.
The house sleeps 15 & has 2 fireplaces.
Perfect place for a family gathering, and next to cellar door. A must visit🍷

We celebrated Father's Day at Whispering Brook yesterday and my family consisting of 4 adults and 1 toddler had such a fantastic time! Judy, our host for the session, took us on a nice tour of the grounds and was very informative and entertaining. We ended the session with some lovely wine tasting and lunch prepared by Judy. Its such a beautiful location and the view was stunning. Also to note that this winery is child friendly with a cute little cubby house for little ones to play. Thanks for everything!

We were in Broke for the Italy in Broke Festival we stared the day with a tour of the Olive Grove having the different olives explained and how the table and olive oil olives are different and how the oil is extracted, etc very interesting. From there we watched and sampled a cooking demonstration by Matt Dillow from the Deck Cafe at Lovedale. Great presentation except spoons or forks would have been helpful for sampling rather than our fingers. An oversight I’m sure.

This is a quaint, boutique vineyard with a relaxed country vibe. The cellar door is in a sweet little wooden cabin which opens onto the wine making area and overlooks the vines.
The staff are wonderful, always warm, welcoming and down to earth.
It has never been crowded when we have been there which means a very personal level of service and a chance to soak up the atmosphere.
There is also an olive grove on site and they produce some beautiful olive oils which are sold at the cellar door.
I’m not a wine lover but I did enjoy learning more about wine and a few of the wines in the wine tasting were easy enough for me to drink.
They are also great with kids. We brought a toy in for our toddler and he happily (luckily) played on the floor for an hour over lunch.
They serve antipasto platters and we enjoyed a couple of pizzas made by the multitalented Brad.
We have been to this little vineyard 3-4 times over the last 18 months and will be back again.

We were 3 families with 6 children 4,5,9,12, 18 and 23 years old and a grandfather. The house had everything we needed and lots of space for everyone. There was even an extra bedroom that we didn't use. The wood fire place was great for the guys, the table tennis table was used all the time. The kitchen was well equipped. The BBQ was very large. The fact that there was no Wifi was great too: no time was spent on screens.
We did a campfire each night with marshmallows and all. The scenery around the house is stunning.
The wine and olives tour was a highlight.
I would definitely recommend this place.

We loved our weekend retreat in the Whispering Brook Guesthouse. We had a large group of 19 and still all felt very comfortable with heaps of space. Walking around the vineyard was beautiful and it's a very relaxing location. The only issues were with the showers as the upstairs and downstairs didn't seem to work simultaneously, however we still managed to make it work. We'd definitely visit again without question.

Hi Sian,
Thank you so much for your feedback, and we are so glad that you and all the Bondi Buf Girls enjoyed your Stay with us and hope to see you again soon.
On investigation of the shower problems, we found a split water pipe outside the house which our plumber has now fixed. Thank you for alerting us to the issue.

Myself and my boyfriend had booked a tour here however when we arrived 15 minutes prior, firstly we were ignored for 5 minutes before essentially being told to go away and come back later as he was busy with other customers, who were not booked onto a tour. We came back after 15 minutes and were told we would have to wait until the other group was finished, he wasn't apologetic and even blamed us saying we should have booked the tour on a Saturday instead. Don't come here unless you are rich and middle aged as you will not be welcomed here.

Thank you for your review and feedback. Our Cellar Door manager did his best to accommodate your early arrival. We take the time to keep people entertained either with tastings or tours. I believe when you arrived our cellar door manger was just finishing up with a large group of walk-in customers and said he would be with you shortly. He offered to commence your experience with a tasting prior to conducting your tour as he was the only one at Cellar Door available at that time. He felt he had to finish with the other customers before starting with your tour which is an in-depth behind the scenes tour of the vineyard, winery and olive grove. He suggested that you have your tasting first and then the tour, which is what we normally would suggest if this situation occurs. Then he would have been able to give you his full attention at the same time as finalising the other large walk-in group. However you insisted on having your tour immediately at 1:30pm which proved very difficult and created an awkwardness with our other customers. Unfortunately you decided to leave saying you would come back. It's such a shame you didn't come back as it's a great tour and we would welcome you back any time.
