The food was sensational, wines were really nice and service was fantastic. We were served by the vigneron and owner Phil who gave such great service and explained the wine tasting as we went. Don't be put off by the very basic unsignposted carpark. You will walk around the building to a low-key but very nice restaurant with absolutely amazing views and a wonderful experience.

Rustic setting with a fantastic view of the countryside and Broke mountain. The food and wine was delicious, the service friendly and prompt. We shared the cheese plate, rib eye and the crème brûlée and had the Barbera and Shiraz… thoroughly recommend all of them! A lovely environment to while away a couple of hours

Had the most amazing 'feast' menu for 10 of us (a mixture of friends and their partners) while visiting the Hunter Valley over the Queen's Birthday long weekend.

Honestly couldn't have asked for more!

The food was wonderful, as was the wine tasting that Phil served us throughout the meal. The views were gorgeous and the service friendly and attentive.

I'm just hoping that I'll be able to go back again, because once everyone realises what a find this is, it's sure to be booked out for months ahead soon!

Better food , better wine and better service. Meat was fatty. Poured wrong glass of requested wine. Service pretty disappointing. View was nice but wouldn't return.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with a review of your time at Mount Broke Wines. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and serving high quality local produce, and to hear that we did not meet your expectations is disappointing. We will take your feedback on board with additional training and hope that we can welcome you back in the future to turn your experience around.

Really enjoyed a lunch and wine tasting here last month with a group of friends - setting was lovely and the food and wine great. After so many months of not mixing with people it was wonderful to socialise. Definitely recommend this venue

Phil hosted our very large family luncheon at his beautiful vineyard. The setting was picturesque and the food was superb. I fell in love with his Barbera and took several bottles away with me after lunch! The service was sensational too, very attentive and friendly. We’ll definitely be going back next time we’re in the Hunter. Thanks Phil.

Thank you for your review - the Barbera is a very special wine indeed and we are pleased you took some to have Mount Broke at home as well. Hoping to see you on your next Hunter Valley adventure!

Best French lunch in The Hunter Valley, Confit duck, superb and Creme Brulee better than I had in France last month.
Great service, rustic setting in the vineyards and price reasonable. Their own wine is fabulous, especially the Barbera.

Everything about this restaurant was perfection. On a beautiful sunny day in the Hunter Valley, why would you sit inside? We hadn't been there before, it was so delightful we are already planning our next visit.

Very rustic, tables set up on a green lawn. Food and wine were outstanding, the service was friendly and perfect. It was a hidden gem!

I can highly recommend this restaurant.

We chose Mt Broke for Friday night dinner as it was close to our accommodation. The setting is lovely overlooking the vineyard & towards the mountain range. Service was quick & friendly and the food & drinks delicious. Make sure you arrive to catch the colours as the sun sets.

Set in a valley with amazing views of rocky out crops. We chose the luncheon cheese and chatcuterie board with our wines. It was an ideal luncheon for us. We could have slso gone for what looked like delicious and more substantial meals. Well priced, great location.
