We called ahead and arrived for the wine tasting with no difficulties. They were sadly sold out of the sparkling when we arrived but the rest of the wines were delicious, and our hostess was charming. We bought a mixed case to take home. Beautiful scenery and buildings also!

We are so glad we called into 1813 or Tinonee Vineyard from the time you enter the vineyard to being greeted by staff at the door this place is stunning to look at and really nice wines. The owners Dan and Adele make your visit a special experience and the staff are amazing as well.
Congratulations Dan and Adele we will definitely be back.

What a lovely tasting and all round fabulous experience. The setting and the wines were just wonderful. This will be on my list for all future Hunter Valley visits. Staff and owners were just lovely and I didn't want to leave. Cellar Door has been beautifully designed and the fire to die for. Can't say enough about this place and the wines are top notch. I really enjoyed my visit and will be back. Thank you.

We stayed at the Dairy Cottage at Tinonee for a weekend getaway and I wish we had booked for longer.

The cottage is beautifully decorated and feels like a home away from home.
It was lovely and clean and the beds are outrageously comfortable!

They also have a cellar door, so if it’s open be sure to pop in for a tasting their wine is lovely. We especially liked the Fiano and the Governor Shiraz.

Thank you for a truly relaxing retreat.

WOW! Just Wow ...! 😮

Having the Hunter Valley on our doorstep, it’s easy for my wife and I to disappear for a couple of hours us time...relaxing drive in the country, a few cellar doors - nice experiences, but one tasting experience tends to be quite similar to the next...until yesterday!

Broke is a little further afield for us, but so glad we went the extra mile to visit 1813 wines on Tinonee Vineyard Estate, as these guys delivered just about the best wine tasting experience I’ve ever had 👍!

With the wind blowing and the temperature low, it was good to get inside out of the weather...expecting to be popped up at the counter, instead we were invited to the adjoining tasting room to relax in front of the beautiful open fire. From here, our guide through the wine list Jesse was very attentive, as was the personal attention from owners Daniel & Adele.

The wines were lovely and the tastings were generous...cheese platters were available to purchase from $10-$20 - we went for the one in the middle ($15), and it too was generous...a plate of dark chocolate appeared along with the reds.

The whole experience was perfect - we never felt pressured to leave, and basically spent about 90 leisurely minutes being totally waited upon...

Perhaps the fact I arrived with no anticipation of being blown away has heightened my experience, but Jeez - I will be back (...and have already booked to return with friends next month!)

So, thanks Jesse, Daniel & Adelle - it’s ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me!!

This is an amazing complex from the tasting area and it’s annex, with its welcoming fire to the accomodation On arrival the vineyard manager gave an interesting and informative talk about the vines from growing to harvest This was followed by a wine tasting with some platters of local produce An afternoon walk through the vines was accompanied by a mob of kangaroos

The accommodation easily accommodated 13 of us The lounge area with its views across the grape vines and pool was very relaxing The kitchen was really well setup and easily accommodated caterers who cooked and served an excellent sit down dinner Beds were really comfortable with quality linen

The only criticism of the accommodation was the need for a separate toilet, as all were contained within bathrooms but in the overall package this was a minor inconvenience

Hopefully will do a repeat visit in the future

This estate is outstanding, don’t let the long gravel driveway fool you - the tasting experience is sophisticated - the venue is elegant and stylish which allows you to relax and enjoy (my wife is dictating) - it is right up there for us and the wine is equally outstanding.

We arrived here late morning as we had a lunch booked elsewhere. Upon first arriving on the premises we all thought how spectacular are the surroundings and the upkeep of the estate.
Inside the building the lovely lady offered us a tasting either at the bar or in the lounge area which had the fire place running.
The customer service was exceptional and the wines were delicious. We even had a complementary tea and short breads for the designated driver. The lady (forgot her name) also gave us some selected chocolates to compliment the shiraz wine and moscato.
When we were purchasing she mentioned about the in-house offer which essentially gave us an extra bottle for free.
Arguably one of the best wineries we have all been to.
Will be here again and could not recommend Tinonee enough. Go there!!

To one is without a doubt the most underrated vineyard in the Hunter Valley. Hilary. It amongst the more well known and commercialised. I yearns it has a quiet charm well worth the drive. The wine is surprisingly excellent - a wonderful moscato that has a distinctive taste that is less sweet than you’d expect, a fantastic Verdelho and a truly amazing Shiraz called The Governor that is worth the trip alone. The owners are incredibly generous with the tasting and if you’re lucky and the manager is there you can get a master class in vineyard management like no other.

The tastings area itself is delightful and there is a recently restored old house (that can be rented) that is well worth a walk around. Get there late in the afternoon and watch the Kangaroos lounging amongst the vines.

This is a fantastic vineyard with brilliant wines and a warm welcome. Don’t miss it.

On a bright and sunny Friday in January, our family arrived at the Tinonee Estate to celebrate our nieces wedding at a nearby venue.

The main house, The Residence is absolutely stunning and fabulous for a large family. The residence has six bedrooms, sleeping 14, two rooms with ensuites plus an additional bathroom. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped, adjoining the main lounge room (which can be closed off if required) and leads out to the stunning pool area. There is also an additional library which doubles as another bedroom.

The pool area also boasts a giant chess set, ping pong table and is surrounded by lush grass and vines galore.

100 metres away is The Dairy, a smaller, equally well equipped and beautiful two bedroom house, both rooms with en-suite and spacious lounge and kitchen.

We unfortunately had a typical hot Hunter Valley January 45 degree day and the air conditioning in The Dairy wasn’t up to the task, however The Residence was cool and comfortable.

Would definitely return - stunning property.
