About
Handcrafted fine wines made with knowledge and passion. Glenguin is a 5 Red Star Winery (Australian Wine Companion 2017) established by Robin Tedder MW. We use sustainable practices with no pesticides and the vineyard is like a garden - full of life. We concentrate on the classic Hunter Valley varietals of Semillon and Shiraz.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great wine. Great service. Definitely worth including in your wine tour. We visited recently as one stop on a wine tour with our group of 8 and enjoyed a wonderful wine tasting while also getting a great rundown the history of the Glenguin Vineyard. They have a great artisan list that clearly had years of experience and passion for great wines put into it. From the Semillon to their Shiraz, there were no disappointments. I happily would visit again.

What a location! Just a little off the beaten track but worth the drive. Awesome tasting experience with Phil who was very generous with his time and knowledge who talked us through the wines, the grapes, the seasons, the history. This is the 1:1 experience that makes wine tasting extra pleasurable. I would put it as a "fussy" winery - in recent years paying close attention to release of only what they consider to be (or has promise to be) a fabulous wine rather than dropping "whatever" on the market, talking it up and hoping for the best. There is plenty of that out there. Here - There is a valid promise of time for a number of their wines available. An intriguing range of tastes and a special tasting experience. Price point is also very good.
