The best Pain Killers!! Get them from the masters! Beautiful beach! I heard so much about the Soggy Dollar, just had to try it! Their conch fritters are also good!

Spent the day last week at Soggy Dollar, had a great time on the beach drinking painkillers. Everyone should do it at least twice.

On our recent cruise to Tortola, we took a Catamaran, Rebel Yell, out to Jost Van Dyke. The captain nosed right in to the beach in front of The Soggy Dollar, and lowered the stairway into the water, and we walked off the boat in...More

We took a catamaran, Rebel Yell, from the cruise ship to Jost Van Dyke. We walked off the catamaran on to a beautiful beach. Made our way to the Soggy Dollar, and enjoyed our first Painkiller. We were able to get a couple of chairs...More

Besides the most gorgeous beach I have ever seen... Can't go without trying a painkiller! Took a catamaran (Rebel Yell) excursion from Tortola to get there & even the ride was awesome. REALLY hope to go back someday!!!

Took a private charter on Catzilla (Love City Excursions) to Jost Van Dyke last week. Was curious to see how the Soggy Dollar has rebounded since the hurricanes of 2017. Happy to say that they are alive and well! There are a number of newly...More

We waited two years to finally make here and it was worth the wait. The painkillers are awesome and lunch was added bonus. The beach was beautiful white sand. Being that there's no dock, everyone swims in from their boats to the beach. People are...More

By far one of my favorite bars in the world! The white sand beach is pristine and the water is calm, crystal clear. Come early to have the beach to yourself, because even on a Tuesday in off season- it still draws a crowd! The...More

After seeing the video cam for years I was really looking forward to visiting the Soggy Dollar and having a famous Painkiller drink. I am sorry this location took such a direct hit from the hurricane last year, but the location is very touristy and...More

Beautiful beach with bars. Great place to get souvenirs from the gift shop. A very iconic destination. They also have a web cam if you want to wave to a family member back at home.

Not sure what excursion you are referencing but there are multiple ways to get to JVD. There are ferries from St Martin and Tortola. Easiest way is via private charter.

I imagine it will depend on whether the cellular service is back and covering White Bay. Best option would be to phone first.

It looked like everything but part of the bar was flattened, hotel, restaurant, all of it. Most recent communication with them shows the bar is being rebuilt. Hopefully, they will be back in business in the near future.
