They have 2 boats one is a catamaran, this is the best one to go on. The scenery was good , but nothing like I was expecting . For me did not have the wow factor. The staff on the boat were pleasant, but not...More

...The gravel road for the 3 kilometre hike in is considered an eyesore by some and an upgrade by others. For us, definitely less appealing than the previous nature trail. Perhaps with time as the vegetation reestablishes, it will be better and complement the lovely...More

We set out shortly before 10:00 from Rocky Harbour to participate in the Western Brook Pond cruise with Bontours, stopping at the Ocean View Hotel to pick up our tickets. When we arrived at the parking lot, we were surprised at the number of cars...More

Four of us went for the Western Brook Pond Boat Tour and it is excellent. There is a three kilometre walk to the boat jetty but the walk is well paved and interesting (just watch for black flies in summer). At the boat jetty there...More

We visited this Pond using BonTours. This made it easy to see the whole Pond. The 3 km. walk is well worth it to see this natural wonder. You can probably hike into the gorge, but for most of us the boat tour is the...More

The views on this tour are tremendous. The 3 km walk to the pond is not challenging but could be a good work out for someone who doesn't normally walk distances. The tour is incredibly informative and the staff are friendly and funny. We had...More

I didn’t do the hike for western brook pond but I did do the boat tour with Bonne bay boat tours and it honestly left me speechless! There is a short 45 minute hike to the boat but it’s mostly flat the entire way. I...More

You want to see some Fjords? Book this trip well in advance. Our best advice is show up early, line up early. Get a seat on the top or at the very front of the boat. That is where you will get the best views.

Went on this tour and the hike in is basically a gravel road (didn’t feel Park like) AND the boat was way too full - we never touched the edge of the ship ship railing - so you had to reach around folks. Certainly worth...More

The approach is now a gravel road rather than a path with boardwalks, with minimal views along the way. The views at the pond are spectacular but it’s a landlocked fjord due to isostatic rebound and there are no sea stacks... More
