Recently stay at Woolfrey. The weather was a mix bag of hot cold , sun and rain. But overall , it’s a quiet gravel pit with great people

Out for a morning jog, I reached the boardwalk (great/forgiving surface for jogging or walking) and just kept going, it was so impressive: 5 km of raised, wooden boardwalk, a good 1.5m wide, well maintained, with information panels along the way, going all around a...More

Tip: If you want to do the boardwalk only, park up near pond road (no parking lot) and start from that direction. If you go the other way, you have to pay an entrance fee to get into the campground. It's not a big fee....More

I LOVE the wall around Woolfrey's Pond. The boardwalk is well maintained and it's a level walkway so you can go as fast as you want or a nice leisurely stroll. A trip around the pond will definitely help you reach your daily stepping goal!...More

Woolfrey's Pond is lovely. The boardwalk is absolutely beautiful. It's about 3km around the pond, and is stroller-friendly (I'm thinking it's technically wheelchair accessible as well, but it may be a little bumpy in a few places). The little beach area on the pond is...More

This is an excellent little park located in the center of town on a very nive pond with a walking trail and totally encompasses the pond, with several offshoot board walks into the woods that lead to great "look-out" locations. Electricity and water are on...More
