Like many other communities in Newfoundland, this trail offers a robust workout with some steep sections that are made comfortable by well-maintained wooden steps and support rails. The trail offers stunning sea views and elf-like forest segments, and a nice view out over the bay...More

You can start it from the lighthouse but that makes for a steep walk back to the car so best bet is for one of your party to take the car down to where the trail starts proper and join up there for the hike...More

Scenic hike with some mild elevation gain via mostly stairs to and from the lighthouse. The Nanny's Hole look off is pretty cool and Sleepy Cove has some nice photo ops. Great hike on a nice day.

Gorgeous views of the bays that surround the town of Twillingate. In June, there were many ice bergs visible up close.

We found this hike very doable, and provided great views of the ocean. There were stairs where the hills got steep which was appreciated. Important to note that the lighthouse did not open its doors until noon if you wanted to tour inside.

The lighthouse has been safely guiding for over 160 years. I love to photograph this part of history.
