This small unassuming ‘shack’ has some interesting displays on view. The highlight though was Duncan. I spent hours with him chatting about family and scouring microfilm of old census and church records. A fantastic wealth of knowledge.

Fascinating place to spend an hour or two poring over the island's history in photos. If you have any link to the island this place is sure to help you find out more.

Excellent with displays of objects & records of Tiree life. Books on the history of Tiree for sale. Limited opening hours due to being manned by volunteers.

A tiny museum in Scarinish open until 1.00pm. Detailed information to give an overview of the social history of the Island. Donation of £3 per person. Resource centre for finding ancestors. Well worth a visit.
