A good venue for a visit to discover the history of Woking and how it grew up around the railway and unique features such as the Mosque, Brookwood, Crematorium, Asylum etc. Allow at least 90 mins.

This is clearly a vanity project or a council with more money than sense. Most of the exhibits are pointless. I don't know how much it costs to run this place but that money could be better spent somewhere else. If you can spend more...More

A great place to pass a couple of hours with the kids while in Woking. Great exhibitions throughout the year and some good children's workshops during the holidays. Try it!

We popped in to here for something to do. It was lovely to walk around, we bought a pass which allowed us full access. My favourite part was the history of Woking, I learnt some new things. The gift shop is rather expensive!

We visited to see one of the local history exhibitions but unfortunately our particular point of interest had passed on; in some ways the exhibition reflected my views of Woking as I was growing up-a large section on the asylum. I think that a visitor...More

Spent a lovely few hours here one rainy afternoon - the Henry Moore exhibition was wonderful followed by the local Woking exhibition. Both were very well presented, informative. The Woking story was excellent with information about Brookwood Cemetery and the town itself. Loved it so...More
