Quebec House is interesting as an example of buildings of its period and the tour goes into most rooms. It is also notable as the house in which Wolfe spent most of his childhood and there are several displays on the battle for Quebec. These...More

General Wolfe whose victory in 1759 established British North American hegemony is a sort of antithesis to General De Gaulle whose ill-judged 1969 injunction ‘Vive le Quebec Libre’ did much to fuel the fires of Québécois independence the embers of which still emit an occasional...More

We had a lovely afternoon here it was enactment weekend. We were have a great chat with one of the volunteers she gave us lots of information. Worth a visit. Admittedly it's not an all day national trust house, it is still interesting to visit.

A very interesting guided tour of Queen house and the life of general Wolfe. Couldn't believe what he'd achieved in such a shore life. Parking was easy and with so many other nt properties nearby it's easy to fit in with chartwell or another.

An interesting house, but possibly not for younger children. There is an I spy sheet in the house, but some of the pictures are quite obscure for younger visitors and as it is reuseable nothing to fill in. Garden is lovely. No parking, but the...More
