we were only recently at the Plains of Abraham (and Montmorency Falls) so this was doubly fascinating. Wolfe has become a crush of mine. Nice family house, right in the village really.

Situated on a bend of the A25 between Westerham and Brasted and almost hidden by a brick wall from the road, this is an imposing house. There is a large tiered car park nearby. The former home of General Wolfe of Quebec fame, it seems...More

Knowing nothing about General Wolfe I had been a bit put off visiting this property even though we live nearby and are NT members. However, it was both a lovely house and fascinating story of the General - definitely do view the exhibition in the...More

We went to Quebec House on the way back from Chartwell and although it’s a lot smaller than Chartwell it’s definitely worth a visit. I knew nothing about the Battle of Quebec or General Wolfe before our visit so it was fascinating to learn more...More

It’s always difficult to write a less than perfect review but Quebec House is a lovely place if you are an aficionado of General Wolfe and the Battle of Quebec but not overly exciting otherwise. The volunteers though are very enthusiastic and really happy to...More

Stopped off at Quebec house after a miander around Sevenoaks. Learnt a lot about the battle of Quebec and the family history. Not a big National Trust treasure but worth an hour.

Had a great day out visiting this fabulous historical house, that is set in the equally historical town of Westerham, Kent. The historical artefacts associated with General James Wolfe and his life, were well represented, in telling the story of his famous life. The house...More

I knew next to nothing about Quebec House and Major General Wolfe. I knew he had a connection with Quebec in Canada. We went on a guided tour (you need to check times when these are available, but I think between 1200 and 1230). Quebec...More
