Although Wolfe only spent a limited amount of time here as a young boy, it is his later history particularly his part in the British conquest of North America which dominates the displays. We shown round by a knowledgeable guide, whose only fault was not allowing questions. Very frustrating. It is a heroic and tragic story, and there are plenty... More

We were able to visit the exhibition this time and it did add to the experience. Having been to the plains of Abraham it was good to see the English side of it. Guide was very bubbly and informative, but the tour party was too big. Everyone involved was friendly

This interesting National Trust house reminds us the life of General Wolfe - it is pleasant and educational with some activities for younger folk which is fun as well as educational. The exhibition section is above the café. The rooms in the house are full with interesting and historical artefacts

A lovely little house worth visiting with either Knole or Chartwell as only takes around and hour. Great to handle a musket . Staff really friendly and helpful and informative. Parking is free just around the corner from the house. Didn't realise there were 2 big characters that came out of Westerham, Churchill and General Wolfe.

This is quite a small property so doesn't take long to look around... But is well worth a visit (especially if going to chartwell up the road). I wasn't really sure who Wolfe was (we didn't learn that period of history in school) and really found I leaner a lot about him. The whole site is quite interactive and you... More

We were unsure about parking availability before we came, but anticipated that we would be able to park in a municipal car park. This proved to be the case. if you are coming here park in the town car park. Ii was surprised to find that it is free to park here for three hours, during which most people would... More

Quebec House is compact, but full of intriguing facts and artefacts. You do get an idea of what eighteenth century life was like for the well-to-do. Wolfe's life was fascinating and you do get a sense of how the battle of Quebec must have been. Our tour was not quite up to what we normally expect from the NT. Our... More

The house is, I believe, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We went on a Sunday and joined the 12 noon guided tour, which is a must, if you want to get the best out of the house. It is supposed to be an hour long, but an hour and a quarter quickly passed... Tony, our guide, was great - full... More
