Lovely walk and watching the bridge being built and the wild life. Children safe running around. Trail for a walk

Before it was closed off to accommodate the building of the new bridge, the footpath went as far as Moore Nature Reserve and beyond, now it;s a 10 minute walk around a field.

Went to Wigg island, with my wife for a walk with our little dog, and really enjoyed it. Nice and quiet, really well cared for grass area's. Great views of the new Mersey gateway bridge, and it is right on the banks of the river...More

Nice and peaceful, next to canal and you can see over the river too. Out of the way, very relaxing walks available

Been here a few times, seams to have gone downhill a bit with the cleaning. Great walk for dogs and fantastic view point of the estuary and Mersey gateway .
