This 90 acre (36 ha) farm is managed as a livestock farm, with numerous footpaths around the site, incorporating grassland, the River Arun, wet meadow, ancient hedgerows, and access to the greater countryside. It can be explored either via the Horsham to Southwater cycle route, ('Peddlers Way') or as part of Horsham's Riverside Walk, following the River Arun. A network of bridleways also crosses the site.

Horsham residents are lucky to have this countryside so close to the town centre. Improvements have been made for walkers and cyclists over the last few years, with a bird hide overlooking water and plenty of wildlife Parking can be problematic, and some dog owners...More

I walk both my dogs here regularly, it's such a great place with enough space to avoid other walkers if you have a nervous/reactive dog allowing you time to build on your dog socialisation at your dog's pace. Shared space with horse riders, walkers, families,...More

Came here for a dog walk and to take some pictures with my new camera. Was a lovely walk up to a waterfall and along some marshes. Can't wait to see it in the summer. Hopefully more wildlife too. Good walk with the dog.

Had some lovely walks here, pretty views and some paths have helped for the wet weather!! I think if they want the dog poo picked up it needs many more bins....! The cows and their pats drive me crazy but I guess it’s their home!!

Much loved green oasis - popular with walkers (& dogs!), cyclists, runners, artists and nature lovers. Hope they NEVER build on this land. Lots of public footpaths across fields and through wooded areas. Great views over town from highest points. Friends group organises walks and...More

This is a very old farm transformed into a park. On a recent visit, I learned that The Friends of Chesworth Farm are working to restore the land to it's natural state. A seasonal canteen may be open this summer which also has toilets, a...More

Big open spaces, hill views and ancient old oaks, a pleasant day out and about. It would be made perfect if there was a tea house nearby.

Its changed a lot over the years and become a lot more accessible which also means its become a lot busier! Great for birwatching, best for miles around in that respect. Easy walking, lots of dogs. Perfect for early morning dog walks.
